Creative Direction

Creative direction at Sunbeam Media transforms ideas into bold visual narratives. Inspired by words and fleeting thoughts, I craft layered, textured worlds through styling, composition, and light. Each project, whether editorial, campaign, or personal, merges passion and purpose to create imagery that tells a story and leaves a lasting impression.

Ascension to Self

Photographer: Keshon (@kasweez)

Model & Stylist: Rhéa Beckford (@okaybabyray)

Rhéa Beckford, an Atlanta-based creative, first began exploring her gender identity through the transformative power of fashion. Her journey began with experimenting with style, using clothing as a tool to express her evolving sense of self. Each outfit became a statement, reflecting her growth and exploration of identity. When Rhéa approached Sunbeam Media for her first photoshoot, we created “Ascension to Self,” a concept that celebrates fashion as a medium for self-discovery. Centered around her signature love for hats, the shoot tells the story of how style became her voice, her confidence, and a reflection of her truest self.

London-based R&B artist Tobi O collaborated with Sunbeam Media for “Where Can I Reach You, Now?”—a photoshoot inspired by themes of longing, heartbreak, and lost love from his upcoming album. Through rich tones, evocative poses, and curated settings, the shoot captures the raw emotions of separation and grief, amplifying the soulful narratives in Tobi’s music and creating a deeply cohesive visual experience.

How Can You Blame Me, For Love?

Photographer: Keshon (@kasweez)

Model: Jazlyn Atiana (@Jazkills)

Jazlyn, widely recognized from Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle, has built her platform by candidly sharing her journey through love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Around Valentine’s Day, she approached Sunbeam Media for a photoshoot that would capture the courage it takes to desire love and embrace vulnerability.

Inspired by the quiet strength and elegance of ballerinas, I guided Jazlyn through intentional poses that reflected her openness and bravery in navigating love—both its beauty and its challenges. With soft movements and refined styling, the shoot highlighted her strength and sensitivity, creating a visual narrative that celebrates her authenticity.

The result was a powerful yet tender ode to Jazlyn’s fearless approach to love and self-expression, offering a visual reflection of her journey in the public eye.

BLOODLUST.

None of us want to believe we are capable of unspeakable acts. It’s easier to imagine the horrors we see on the nightly news as the work of monsters-something other than ourselves.

But the truth is more unsettling: most crimes are born not of hate, but of love. Crimes of passion, committed by ordinary people pushed to the edge-by the fear of losing love, the sting of betrayal, or the rage of feeling unseen. Love makes us vulnerable, and when that vulnerability is shattered, it can spiral us into madness.

This project seeks to capture that descent-the internal turmoil as rage festers and grows. Love is a mirror, reflecting not only the best of us but the darkest corners of who we are. It reveals the capacity for revenge, the craving for retribution, and the hunger for destruction.

Love teaches us that we too can have a lust for blood.
